Dramatic Trees at Tainan Park

Proceeding the walk through Tainan Park, today I leave you some examples of incredible trees that live in Tainan Park. Their shapes and size are absolutely impressive and they talk to you, listen:

The Mystic Aura of Tainan’s Park

Tainan’s central park is alive and has a soul of its own.
Every time I enter it I get a different feeling and see different things.
It can be extremely serene beautifully decorated with natural born flowers, which Mother Nature replaces all year around but it can also be mysteriously spooky with its ancient trees competing with each other and with time to reach their dramatic shapes.
When you walk through this park, on an early foggy winter morning or late at night, you can’t avoid feeling some kind of mystic energy created by the surreal scenario, almost as if you were in some Hollywood mystery movie.
Come along to see if I can transmit you what I mean:

Tripping in Tainan's Park - I

I know its very cliché to have “my best this or my best that” but I have to admit that since I am in Tainan, I do have my favorite tree and my preferred city park. They both live here in Tainan.
Sunday morning was quite sunny and things outside seemed to have recovered quite well from the last 48 hours storm. I decide to go for a walk in the park and although I’ve been there many times, I brought along my camera, just in case, as this park always amazes me for its natural beauty, and its mystic and spiritual aura. Once again, a simple walk in the park turns out to be an exciting trip in a world of beauty!
I interrupt for a while my posts about South East Asia trips to share with you the beauty seen and felt, Sunday morning in Tainan park, the day after the storm.
I have selected a few photos but they are just too many for a single post, so I grouped them into subjects and will post a subject a day.
I leave you now with a glance of each subject you will be seeing here in the next few days:

Last typhoon in December was in 1964...

Usually the typhoon season in the Asian tropics lasts the summer and ends in September, maximum October.
This year, it has been a tough one and typhoons are very frequent.
We’re already in December and here we are, being blown by cyclonic winds, under heavy rain and involved by a strange fog, as if the skies (not heaven but hell) came down on Taiwan.
Are we already at the day after tomorrow??!!

Typhoon NANMADOL, after violently brushing the Philippines and initially forecast to move northwest towards the south east China coast, it twists northeast towards south Taiwan.
What a weekend ;-(

But any how, do have a great and safe weekend!
